Ingredient:

  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 250 grams of flour
  • 1 hot pepper or 1 tablespoon hot paprika powder
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • a few parsley leaves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry yeast

Method of preparation:

Clean, wash and cut the mushrooms, then boil for a few minutes, between 10 and 20 minutes. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. The parsley is washed and finely chopped.

Put the carbonated water in a bowl, then gradually add the oil, salt and flour and mix well. Then add the rest. First the poppy and flax seeds, which are very tasty and healthy and should be included in the fast. Add the mushrooms, olives, parsley, carrots, baking powder, yeast. Mix well and add more flour if the dough is too soft. You don't have to make a watery dough, like pancakes, but a thicker one.

Take a cake pan, grease with oil and sprinkle with flour. Put it in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test. Extinguish the fire and leave it in the oven for 15 minutes with the door closed.

It is a very good fasting appetizer, which you will surely want to do more often during fasting. You can make it without adding poppy seeds or flax seeds, but they are very good and healthy and taste better. It's great, you don't even say it's fasting.

Lent appetizer with vegetables and mushrooms

Ingredient:

  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 2 large cups of flour
  • 350 gr brown mushroom mushrooms
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 cauliflower
  • 1 / yellow pepper
  • parsley leaves
  • 150 ml plain soy yogurt
  • 50 ml of soy fasting milk
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 sachet hardener sauces

Method of preparation:

Scald all the sliced ​​vegetables and place on a napkin to drain. The flour is mixed with the milk, a little salt. All the ingredients are well homogenized and put in a cake pan, without covering it with anything, in an oven that must be preheated for about 10 minutes. Remove the tray from the oven, put the vegetables, slices (mushrooms cut in half, cauliflower bouquets and potatoes). All the vegetables are put in layers starting with the potatoes and ending with them.

Pour over all the vegetables a composition made of yogurt, spices (rosemary, salt, pepper), 3 tablespoons of flour and an envelope of sauce hardeners. After pouring the yogurt composition, garnish with a few vegetables for a pleasant appearance. The cake is placed in the preheated oven at about 200 degrees, and its thermal preparation takes about 30 minutes to brown well.

Fasting appetizer with spinach

Ingredient:

  • 500 gr fresh spinach
  • 200 g of tofu
  • 1 leg fresh dill
  • 300 gr flour
  • 1 lta baking powder
  • 120 ml soy milk
  • 80 ml sunflower oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano

Method of preparation:

Wash the spinach leaf by leaf, scald it for a few minutes, then let it drain and cool, and at the end chop larger.
Separately, in a bowl, add the dry elements of the recipe: flour and baking powder, and then gradually incorporate the oil and warm milk.
The dill is washed and finely chopped, then it is added over the composition together with the sauteed spinach and crushed tofu. Incorporate all the ingredients well and add another pinch of salt. Beforehand, a cake form is prepared in which baking paper is placed and the composition is poured. For the appearance, sprinkle a little oregano on top.
The cake should stay in the oven for about 60-70 minutes, over medium heat.

It took me 20 minutes, but depending on the type of pears used, the time may be different.

Boil the potatoes.
Prepare an elastic dough from water, oil and flour. Gradually add water, the amount may differ, depending on the quality of the flour.

Set aside for 15 minutes, covering the bowl with cling film.

Filling
Boiled potatoes, onions and carrots are grated or finely chopped.

Add ginger, turmeric, curry and salt.

Necessary ingredients:

2 eggplants
4 tomatoes
2 garlic cloves
125 ml of water
200 g cheese
parsley to taste
½ teaspoon of salt

Method of preparation:

Put the sliced ​​eggplant in a bowl, salt and set aside for 20 minutes to leave the juice.

Separately, grind the garlic, mix it well with cold water.

In another bowl, grate the cheese. We cut the tomatoes into rounds.

We line a baking tray with baking paper, then with oil.

We rinse the eggplants under cold water, we give them, one by one, through the garlic water and we place them on the prepared tray.

We also put the grated cheese on the slices, and the tomato slices on top of the cheese.

We should have 2 trays at the end.

Put in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius, for 25 minutes, checking with a fork if they are ready. The time may vary slightly depending on the oven.

Sprinkle with small pieces of parsley.


Rounds of bell pepper with cheese, mayonnaise and egg

Necessary ingredients:

2-3 bell peppers
1 or boiled
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
200 g grated cheese
dill, to taste
2 garlic cloves

Method of preparation:

We clean the paprika and seeds.

We bring the boiled egg and the cheese through the small grater.

Add the crushed garlic, finely chopped dill, mayonnaise and mix until smooth.

Fill the peppers with stuffing, then refrigerate for 2 hours.

We cut into rounds and serve.


Aperitif roll of minced meat wrapped in bacon

This appetizer roll of minced meat wrapped in bacon is suitable for both cold and hot snacks, along with a puree or a natural potato.
